The real-time stream of resting orders and aggressive buying/selling beneath the price chart.
Candlesticks summarize what already happened; order flow shows the live battle underneath — resting bids and asks in the book, and the market orders pushing price. Order-flow imbalance (aggressive buying consistently absorbing supply, or vice versa) hints at who is in control right now.
