Hunter AI is a trading copilot on Telegram. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the control you keep over it.

We built Hunter AI to help you trade more thoughtfully — not to harvest your data. We collect only what the product needs to work, protect sensitive information like exchange keys with strong encryption, and never sell your personal data. This page describes those practices in plain language.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the Hunter AI Telegram bot, this website, and the related services we operate. By using Hunter AI you agree to the practices described here.
If you do not agree with this policy, please stop using the bot and the website.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum needed to run the service and improve it:
- Telegram account data: your Telegram user ID, username, first name and language — provided by Telegram when you start the bot.
- Usage data: the commands you send, features you open, signals you view, and your in-app preferences and settings.
- Trading configuration: the pairs, risk settings and preferences you choose so the copilot can tailor its analysis.
- Exchange API keys: only if you choose to connect an exchange for auto-trading (see the security section below).
- Payment data: when you upgrade to Pro, our payment processor handles the transaction; we receive confirmation of your subscription status, not your card details.
- Website data: basic, privacy-respecting analytics such as page views and approximate region, used to understand what content is helpful.
How we use your information
We use the data above to:
- Operate the bot: deliver analysis, signals, risk assessments and, where enabled, execution.
- Personalize your experience: remember your language, pairs and settings so you don't repeat yourself.
- Power AI features: pass the relevant context to the AI copilot so it can answer your questions and explain signals.
- Improve the product: understand which features help, fix problems, and make the service more reliable.
- Keep you informed: send you the messages, alerts and updates you've opted into.
- Protect the service: detect abuse, prevent fraud and enforce our terms.
Exchange API keys and security
Connecting an exchange is entirely optional and only needed for auto-trading. When you connect one, we treat those keys as some of the most sensitive data we hold:
- Keys are encrypted at rest and are never shown back to you in full or exposed in logs.
- We recommend keys scoped to trading only — never enable withdrawal permissions.
- You can disconnect an exchange and remove your keys at any time.
- We never share your exchange keys with any third party.
Your AI conversations
When you chat with the AI copilot, your messages and the relevant market context are processed to generate a response. We use trusted AI providers to run these models under agreements that restrict how your data may be used.
We may retain conversations to provide the feature, keep context across a session, improve answer quality and prevent misuse. Please don't share passwords, seed phrases or other secrets in chat — the copilot never needs them.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these limited cases:
- Service providers: infrastructure, AI, messaging and payment partners who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- The exchange you connect: only the instructions needed to place and manage the trades you've authorized.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users or the service.
- Business transfers: if the service is involved in a merger or acquisition, with continued protection of your data.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Some records are kept longer where required for legal, accounting or security reasons.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see your rights below).
Your rights and choices
You stay in control of your information. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Export a copy of your data.
- Object to or limit certain processing, and withdraw consent where it applies.
How we protect your data
Security is a core part of how the product is built. Our safeguards include:
- Encryption of sensitive data such as exchange API keys.
- Access controls that limit who can reach production systems and data.
- Careful logging that avoids recording secrets or tokens.
- Regular review of our dependencies and infrastructure.
No system is ever completely secure, but we work continuously to protect your information and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
Website analytics and cookies
This website uses minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful. We avoid intrusive tracking and do not build advertising profiles.
Your browser may store small preferences, such as your chosen language. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.
International users and children
Hunter AI is used around the world, and your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens, we take steps to protect it consistently with this policy.
The service is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age required to trade in their jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves or the law changes. When we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the bot.
Continuing to use Hunter AI after an update means you accept the revised policy.
